We Built Theirs… Now Let's Build Ours

As the founder of a corporate Employee Resource Group (ERG), avid member of NSBE and SHPE, and ongoing connector of people…I've spent a lot of time thinking about a problem I know many of us feel (especially when you're the only one like you in a space).

Here's The Problem: We go to these incredible summits and conferences, we get fired up while sharing gems and community together, but the moment we head back to our respective companies that energy often disappears. We lose that safe, authentic space to talk freely, strategize how to navigate corporate spaces, unfamiliar places, and actually advocate for one another across company lines.

We've done incredible work at building limited communities within our own companies and inside conferences but I believe it's time we had a space that actually belongs to us year round—one that extends beyond the walls of any single corporation and follows us throughout our entire careers.

Solution: I'm currently leading a team to build a new mobile ecosystem designed to be that bridge. I think of it as a "GPS for your career." It'll include these key elements:

  • Guided Dialogue: Honest conversations to drive intentional action.
  • Shared Resources: A collective library of templates to stop "reinventing the wheel."
  • Collective > Network: An active support system of authentic partners collaborating to achieve shared goals.
